Abdullah Shahid is a Pakistani filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. 

He graduated with honours from Pomona College, California in 2019, majoring in Film Theory and Theatre. At Pomona, he received the Scott Winslow Award in Media Studies for his thesis film and The Virginia Princehouse Allen Prize in Drama for his contributions to the theatre department. Abdullah co-devised and performed in a production at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles. Upon his return to Pakistan, he spent two years as an IB DP Film Studies instructor in Lahore, Pakistan. His short film, "Catfish," premiered at the Oscar qualifying Tasveer Film Festival in Seattle last year as the closing film for the festival and is currently streaming on TasveerTV.

Abdullah is currently an MFA Grad Film Candidate at New York University, concurrently developing and seeking funding for his next short film, "Phuppo", to be shot in January 2025.
