Kamil Chima is a producer, writer and director. Kamil graduated from Harvard College in 2015 and set up Nehr Ghar Films, a film-production company based out of Pakistan. His first feature film, on which he was the main producer, ‘Laal Kabootar’ (2019) was Pakistan’s Official Selection for the Academy Awards 2020. He went on to produce the short film 'Eid Mubarak' (2023) that won Best Live Action Short at NYCIFF. His second feature film as producer 'The Queen of My Dreams' (2023) premiered at TIFF 2023. He is an alum of the IFFR Producers Lab 2023, and the Producers Network at the Marche Du Film at Festival de Cannes 2023. As a director his debut music video for the Pakistani pop sensation Hasan Raheem ‘Sun Le Na’ (2022) was an acclaimed hit.
